Before the start of the deconstruction of Tanguay Prison, our specialized DECONTAMINATION division carried out high-risk asbestos removal throughout the building.

Decontamination is a crucial step to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved. That is why asbestos is removed before any demolition work, in accordance with the highest industry standards.

Air quality tests are conducted before, during, and after the decontamination work. A negative pressure system with HEPA filters is continuously used to contain asbestos fibers within the work area and protect the surrounding environment.
