Georges-Vernot Pool

This project included the complete deconstruction of the former Georges-Vernot municipal pool, including:

• Safe asbestos removal from the existing building
• Site excavation and backfilling
• Land leveling in preparation for a future park development

Challenges and Issues:

• Management of contaminants (asbestos) in an aging public building
• Work in a residential area, requiring careful attention to safety and coexistence with neighbors
• Adherence to municipal deadlines for delivering the site in conditions suitable for redevelopment

Result:

• Site delivered clean, leveled, and ready to accommodate the landscaping of the future park
• Deconstruction and civil works completed on time and in compliance with environmental standards
