We are looking for a meticulous, curious, engaged, and organized Estimator.
If you want your numbers to help plan solid and well-executed projects, you’re in the right place.

⚠️ Please note: This position mainly involves sawing, drilling, and specialized concrete work. It does not include full building demolition management, but rather targeted interventions on concrete structures.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Analyze calls for tenders, plans, specifications, and technical documents;
  • Visit job sites to understand actual conditions and materials present;
  • Calculate quantities using specialized software;
  • Estimate costs (labor, materials, equipment, subcontracting)
  • Request and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Prepare and submit bids, ensuring all required documents are completed;
  • Identify project-related risks and incorporate them into the analysis;
  • Transfer budgets and documents to the project manager for awarded projects;
  • Participate in project kickoff, follow-up, and review meetings;
  • Collaborate on variance analysis between estimated and actual costs and contribute to continuous improvement.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday;
  • Competitive salary based on experience;
  • 4 weeks of construction leave after 1 year of continuous service;
  • Partial remote work possible after onboarding (1 day per week);
  • Position based in Montreal;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in estimating (preferably in concrete projects – an asset, construction, or civil engineering);
  • Proficient in Excel and estimating tools (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.);
  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze plans and specifications;
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and stress management skills;
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with operations;
  • Willingness to visit job sites and engage with on-site teams;
