JOB SUMMARY
Under the authority of the Transportation Coordinator, the driver operates a roll-off or drop-deck truck in the Greater Montreal area to transport machinery, accessories, or empty/full construction bins to job sites. The driver operates and handles various equipment.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Secure equipment (trailer, excavator, heavy machinery, wheel loader, aerial platform, forklift, etc.);
- Drive a heavy vehicle in the Greater Montreal area (Class 1);
- Transport empty bins to some of our job sites, return full bins, and deliver them to sorting centers;
- Transport machinery to our job sites;
- Handle chains, ratchet straps, and attach containers;
- Operate equipment;
- Manually move metal wheeled containers (approximately 44 kg);
- Work in the yard to ensure everything is in its place and/or use the wheel loader;
- Clean equipment (truck and other job site equipment);
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.
REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a Class 1 driver’s license;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience;
- Clean driving record;
- Flexible with work hours;
- Always work safely;
- Be prepared for physical work:
- Lift loads of 23 kg;
- Frequently get in and out of the vehicle;
- Frequently bend to secure containers (hooks 12 kg and ratchet straps 13 kg);
- Transport concrete on some of our job sites.
